Took off my valve cover an seen milky oil on my rockers. No smoke out pipes what would be most common problem.

antifreeze mixed with the oil. It doesn't take long for antifreeze to destroy the babbit on a bearing. You'll need to tear down the engine for a rebuild. It could be a cracked head or block or head gasket.

Has the car been sitting up for a while or driven regularly?
If the car sits a lot and it's just in the valve cover it could just be condensation. If you're lucky.
But if the oil itself is milky then more than likely you have more serious problems. Head gasket, head, etc.....

Yes car been sitting for some months just got my headers an had to take off my oil filter an notice it was watery so I decided to look under my valve covers an seen milky oil

you can buy a combustion leak test kit. usually if theres a large amount of coolant in the oil its a intake gasket or cracked intake, cracked block or head. A bad PCV will cause a milky substance in the covers as well. So u have a little detective work to do. Wish ya all the best my friend.

No smoke out of tail pipe

Not always, I have done lots of gaskets on vehicles that wernt blowin the white smoke. It depends how bad the gasket is. That is why I recomend the combustion gases coolent check. Usually I always replace the head gaskets when doing a intake gasket if the customer can afford it. Reason being once u seal up the coolent syastem the next weakest link ruptures. Then everything has to come apart again, been there done that.

That is true...he mentioned twice about not getting smoke so I offered that explanation...either way the engine needs work...or it's time for an upgrade under the hood
