The odd part about the Nothing Song is that it is a translation from Yiddish. The liner notes commented that one of the group member sang the song to his mother or grandmother in english and she sang it right back at him in German Hebrew, aka Yiddish.

All of this Paul Revere posting has me remembering when I meet him & his wife while they were serving Thanksgiving dinner back in '04 while my unit was held up in Alexandria, La after finishing up at Ft, Polk. Really nice guy.
