Looking to lower the car about 2 inches all around i want it to sit low, I was gonna cut the springs but that seems just plain hacked and unsafe. Any other ideas? It seems the Eibach pro kit just doesnt have a big enough drop.

You can get the eibach springs and cut a 1/2 loop off of them. As long as you install new shocks it will be fine.

Front and rears? you think its safe? and as for shocks what should I use I like the KYB gas but can I use replacment kyb monte or do I have to get diffrent ones?

look at the hotchkis bilstein shocks for g-bodies.

well if you want quality and handling you have to pay for it. bilstein makes some of the best shocks in the world.

you are gonna want to do all 4 shocks.
kyb's work but they are cheap and wear out pretty quick. i have them in my vw and they handled well at the beginning but after 6 months the handling started to degrade..

being on a budget with no job for now I might have to go KYB until I can upgrade to the bilstein's, But the springs im gonna order, so cut half a loop on each? thing it'll be ok? why not just do it to my stocks?

I cut my stock springs, 1 1/2 off the front and 1 full off the rear. This is only temparary as i am going to be putting air ride on my car. Also this made the front extremly low so i had to modify the frame just above the lower control arm so it wouldnt bottom out, it rides the same as it did before i lowered it because i made sure it still has suspension travel.
