I’m about to install these moog 5660 springs
But I do not want or need the car any lower
I in fact, would like it raised about 1/4-1/2 inch

I for some reason, am thinking the 5660 is a lowering spring

if so, what spring would I need to run that compares in rates and yet remains a stock height spring. I am running a dropped spindle you see and I would like to retain the current stance

I don’t think the 5660s are lowering springs. I put them in my SB El Camino with 245/45X17 tires and had over a 3 inch gap between the top of the tire and the fender lip. I took them back out and cut off half a coil.

it's hard to tell if the 5660 will give you the same ride height without knowing what spring is there now. If that is the original spring it has compressed over the years. That is a nice stance, what spring do you have in the rear.

I replaced the sagging stock V6 springs in my wagon with 5660s and they restored what I'd consider a stock ride height with SBC and AC. You could consider 5662s or 5664s. The latter are very hard, for the convertible Fbody with the extra chassis stiffening.

What fender height are you looking for and what tire diameter do you have?

From December 2017-
I need to start the "What did you do to your G-body this WEEK thread?", can't get hardly anything done in a day! Monday/Tuesday-Installed Moog 5660 springs in the front, too tall, raised 1/2" from stock.. Wednesday/Thursday-Removed and cut 1/2 coil, reinstalled, maybe OK, 1/2" ? lower than stock now.

79 Cutlass Supreme, 305-4brl, 17"x 8"& 17"x 9" American Racing VN501 wheels, Cooper 225/50-17 & 245/45-17 RS3-A tires

These were my results putting in the 5660's. My car has A/C and aluminum bumper supports also.

I have 5662s in the Pig, and I don't consider them "stiff" at all compared to the stock 5606 marshmallows. $ door, v6 and it rides just about right. It's a little harsh on sharp bumps like expansion joints, but fine otherwise.
