That sucks!

What if you bought one of those tent/car-port things and set it up right next to your house and put the car in there?
Would that be enough to keep the city off your back? That way everything's out of sight...

Something like this, but with a front and back panel, so it's enclosed... They have this at Walmart for $169.

Or something like this is around $600...

I have the one in Blakes first pic. it isn't bad, but make sure its secured to the ground because they could blow away pretty easily.

I've been thinking about something like that. I've had all day to stew about it and I'll be damned if I let them keep me from my *pursuit of happiness*.

Seems like everywhere you turn there's someone ready to stomp on the rights that many Americans died trying to defend. Something to think about as Memorial Day approaches us.

Thanks for the ideas Blake. I'm going to check in on something *semi-permanent* that doesn't require a building permit and also doesn't increase property taxes.

I'll keep everyone posted in case someone else is in the same predicament, I'm sure I'm not the only one here in this situation.

Great write up doug. I'm gonna follow this until it's done. You guys are right, you have to be a true car enthusiast to appreciate the time and money we put into restoring a 20 yr old that was $10k brand new. The only way you get it back is cruising Sat nights by the waterfront, knowing you out class any riceburner anyday!!
