One of these days im going to document everything I did because a lot of people (including myself) had to do a lot of figuring out because of lack of direct info...
The 4.3 was TBI obviously... the pump puts out 12 psi (at least mine does) I ran a caddy CTS-V filter near the tank which has a return line built into it.. SO 2 lines go into the filter one comes out and goes to the regulator then to the carb... the filter is nice because whatever backed up pressure the pump is trying to force thru gets returned immediately therefore (in theory) allowing the pump to work a bit easier.. its a super simple setup...I wanted to run as many OEM parts as I could simply because they are designed for longevity
