Re: My 78 Regal Build Thread. Dec. 19 UPDATE

Nice Regal. Now I know of 3 G-Bodies in Columbus with a big block Buick under the hood. Looks like your car was at Columbus Tech. Do you know a guy called Jose, or a guy named Charles Taylor?

Appreciate it. I know yours has one but, who is the other? Yea that's the same car. I know your dad, Charles, and Jamell. Me and your dad were in the auto tech program together. He and Jerry used to help me work on my car. How did those headers work out for you?

Great job thanks for the updates. 241@50 exhaust duration should make her cackle & lope a bit. Bet she will sound and run as good as she looks. Ever see the beautiful silver 78 455 Regal that used to be on v8regals section of v8Buick forum? The man who built it has since passed and his son posted a little for a while but it may be in archives or something if you ask. It was a fantastic job that if you have not seen all the pics on you should look for or ask about.

Thanks and just trying to contribute to help others and keep the forum alive. Yea I checked it out back when I was debating about the caddy 500. I am still in love with that motor even though I dont even have one.

My buddy called "Var" has had a purple Regal on 22s w/a Buick 455 for years. He hardly ever drives it now though. I almost bought it before mine got finished. My headers were a PITA to get on the passenger side. They fit good though after a bunch of cutting and rerouting tubes, and installing my high torque mini starter.

Re: My 78 Regal Build Thread. Jan. 4 UPDATE

Weather has been nice so I finally went out and got her back running. I took her for a drive the last two days. First day I took it easy but the second day I got in it. Man when that cam hits, IT FREAKING HITS. I am anxious to see what it does with some real gears. Today I will probably switch over to electric fuel pump and upgrade my alternator. Either that or go to another muffler setup. Her is a short walk around video after getting everything together.
