My 81' Project UPDATE 7/23

Hey new member here and thought I would show you my project.

Work done so far
-Rebuilt TH350 trany (cant remember what stall torque convertor but soon to be replaced)
-New flywheel (old one was banged up from an incorrectly shimmed starter)
-New starter
-Old exhaust taken out because it was missing some key things (muffler, cat you know)
-Replaced with completly illegal ghetto rig of straight pipes to Thrush glasspacks (better than straight headers)
-SBC 350 (came in car)
-Mild cam ( don't know what kind of cam going to investigate more when engine is torn down)

Thats all I can think of for now I'll get some better pics up once it stops snowing

Hey, it's a non-a/c car!

Were you trying to sell it a while ago? I think I saw it on Craigslist...

Yeah I was. My girlfriends was trying to get me to get rid off it. I finally convinced her otherwise.

How can you tell its a non A/C just curious?

It's also a no heat no air car at the moment.

you can tell by the left side of the of the fire wall how its all empty ur lucky u got alot of clearence compare this car to urs

I spotted the non-a/c heater box, though you're missing the blower housing on the front of it, which would explain why you don't have any heat...

Ha yeah i got the no heat part trust me. I have the blower housing however I need a new blower. Im going out to HWY 101 Auto Salvage soon as I was was told they have some g-bods out there right now.

The biggest trick is gonna be my wiring harness. The guy before me completly hacked the engine harness so I'm going to challenge myself and see if I can use the original one.
