Just came accross this picture of me 22 years ago (wow!) 17 years old 84 Cutlass Supreme Brougham with the 307 and 13" Player wire wheels... My first Cutlass 😁

Unless someone replaced the rear in that car, it will definitely be the 7.5". And, unless the original owner ordered a posi, it will be an open differential.

I bet that 307 felt like a fire breather compared to the 260. Isn't a 2.41 the usual gearing with a 260? Hopefully not 2.14 gears😱.

Now my 2nd Cutlass which I have no pictures of, 83 Brougham Silver with a white half top cleaner than my current 82, was a beast... I ripped the 3.8 liter v6 out and dropped in a chevy 350... Put in Cam, headers, shift kit, loud pipes, Holley carb... That's the one that got away... Been kicking myself ever since...

I'm in the process of finishing up with a '91 454 and 4L80e trans in mine. Hopefully goin' to put the front clip on tomorrow.

The glass headlight housings are JS Power part# HL04X4.. They work with H4 bulbs.. The LED H4 bulbs are Aukee 6000k Cool white H4 conversions Part #659516951940.. I know there are issues with some LED headlights flickering or going out prematurely and haven't had these long enough to see how good they really are but so far so good.. The 4x6 headlight housings are decent enough.. They look very close to stock and fit on car perfect.. I know there is another brand Hella that also makes the 4x6 glass housings but they are more expensive.. I will keep you posted on the LED bulbs as I use them more. Also I would love to have a 454 in my ride that would be awesome!
