That wheel is in nice shape Mitch....nice find!

I have a few different horn centers here unless you like that one...

Older pic and I may have sold a couple but I could look if you were interested in putting something else in.

Well folks, I wish I could say progress was being made but it looks like another simple job has turned into a sh*t show. I glued the pieces of carpet to the metal pieces of the rear seat yesterday. They looked fine. Today I tried to install everything and this was the outcome. Needless to say Im fuming. Looks like I made the wrong choice as far as upholstery shops.
The guy already redid the rear seat back because the panels had wrinkles all over them. Now I have this.
I tried to lower the right side of the seat back but its already at the bottom. Doesnt look like theres anything that can be done to the bottom to raise that up. Nothing fits right. I tried the original seat bottom (the bottom that I used was from a Cutlass sedan) and it didnt fit much better.
Tomorrow Im heading to the yard that has the Cutlass wagon Ive been pulling parts off of to see how the rear seats fit. The whole back of the car is filled with crap so I have to empty it before I can move the seat up. If theyre better I'll take them both and have them redone. I cant even say I'll be able to use whats on my seat since nothing lines up right. This really sucks.

Sorry to see that.

Horrible workmanship, none of the seams are straight, so that pretty much rules out trying to adjust the covers on the frames.

Between the cost of having it done locally, and the fear over workmanship, that's why I'll be buying presewn covers for mine, but I know that really isn't an option on yours.

Wow. I'm officially jealous. I have an '83 Regal estate I'm about to inherit. This build is super-clean! Sorry for the headaches you've had to endure. Glad to see that a lot of parts seem to interchange between the G-bodies. Appears to me the lower door panels are essentially identical, with the main differences being the upper upholstery and trim. Obviously the dashes are different. Good for me since I'm sure Malibu wagon parts are a lot easier to find than Regal estate parts (since they only made them for two years!)
