Getting hit by some dipshit is one of my greatest fears.
Several years ago I was pulling away from a stop sign in the 442 and the car behind me got rear ended... :shock:
Another time in the Caprice I could've pulled into traffic, but decided to wait for one more car. At the next stop light, that last car I was now behind rear ended the car in front of it.
Idiots are everywhere...
Glad you're ok and hope you're back on the road soon with an even nicer Cutlass!

If he didn''t injure his back and neck don't suggest he make a false claim. Those who do that just raise the cost of our premiums. Plus it's no fun if he did injure his back, I did when I got rear ended and spent 6 years in every type of therapy and it's still not right

i hear what you're saying but insurance companies are the biggest scam in this country...and trust me your premium won't go up as long as your driving record remains good. being hit in the back by someone going 65mph when you're at a stand still and totaling your car to only get some BS check from the insurance company b/c you're driving a car that has no value (to them) is just some BS. so i play the game that the insurance companies play...they have their way of getting paid and we have ours...i hope you were compensated for the pain and time you were healing when yours happened. you're right it's not right..everyone is getting paid in this country so why shouldn't you sometimes..

I agree that insurance companies are a scam but we all cover the costs of claims and the insurance company charge higher premiums to recoup. I'm not speaking about anyone's premium, I'm talking about premiums in general
