I just saw that they make a 2810 Victor for the 455. Saweeeet. At $525 it looks mighty affordable compared to my intake. Sad but true.

I would lay out all of your panels on your intake and take it to someone who can TIG like a mother and pay them. Shouldn't cost $100 if everything is clean and fits right. The Torker is still the best looking intake hands down.
I run the Torker because of the cool, 67 only louvers in the hood. With short motor mounts and a drop base filter, it only has about a 1/4" clearance.
I don't want a cowl.

Toss the air cleaner, problem solved. You're welcome. 😉

I guess I'm fortunate that my aluminum TIG guy works for beer and $20's.

I'll never deter anyone from EFI as long as you're considering multiport. But I'm confident a welder will be cheaper than a homegrown multiport setup though 🙁

If he wants any Chinese copy, it would be this with the EFI rails added. Supposedly a decent intake manifold. They want $369 for this one.

I'm not buying a Chinese intake. My comment was intended to mean that I could be like the Chinese, copy the design, then cast my own. I have a few 307 pistons to melt down.
You are giving the Chinese credit that they don’t deserve. A douchebag American businessman is probably paying the Chinese almost nothing to cast them and making all of the profit. I can’t imagine trying to save $150 buying that Intake over the Victor.

Here ya go. The big round blob toward the center is where the lamp post burned through. A coworker was kind enough to give me an old gas grill for some cast aluminum.
