I found an old SBO Holley Street Dominator on fleabay a while ago but I found out Ebrock still makes a single plane. I need to convert one of them to port EFI for my eventual build. Problem is putting bungs in most older intakes requires welding and welding to old cast is sketchy sometimes.

I had thought about buying some -6 ORB plugs and drilling the ID out to 14mm injector O-ring size and then drilling and tapping the intake with an ORB port tool and then threading the O ring seat bungs into the intake. If you ever get that far let me know and I can tool some stuff up! 🙂

The problem is the "solder"/brazing rod material resoftens with heat easily. The top looked good, I flipped it over to fill in the bottom, all hell broke loose, and everything fell through. I don't have a whole lot of confidence in the grill material either at this point. It's the same thickness as the lamp post for all intents and purposes.

You are giving the Chinese credit that they don’t deserve. A douchebag American businessman is probably paying the Chinese almost nothing to cast them and making all of the profit. I can’t imagine trying to save $150 buying that Intake over the Victor.

The Chinese can build good products, pretty sure they know every trick to produce it as cheaply as possible. As said, some dirt bag is making the money in the end. I am glad Edelbrock redesigned their RPM head so it is a bolt on, out of box affair, no .100" milled Procomp heads with better hardware. We know you are modifying the old Torker design. Just saying you would want a single plain. The Chinese single plane is good, the dual plane, air gap isn't as good as the regular Performer.
