Well the radius arms are done. Had to get a 3/4-10 tap and die and clean up all the threads, but everything is back together. Should be okay to drive

Another shot of both radius arms installed. I went back and re-torqued everything to spec today.
As far as possible replacements go, I'm still open to anything but here's what I'm finding in my search. I like the Tacomas but they are wildly expensive. And I'm not sure I really want a midsize truck. I suppose if I found the right one, but the prices are shocking.
I haven't found a single Silverado or Sierra I like in my budget. I wouldn't want to go older than a K2xx generation.
There are some decent Fords but mostly 12th gens which is fine as long they aren't beginning to rot. I'm willing to travel a day or so to a drier state to find a nice one. I like the 13th gens better and I'm more familiar with them, but there are less options that route. Still some though. I'd want to stick with the 5.0L; ecoboost problems are still to fresh of a memory.
Lots of Rams available within my criteria and they are nice looking trucks. Mostly short beds though, so I'd have to decide if that's a sacrifice I'm willing to live with. I am completely unlettered in mopar but there are an awful lot of them out there.

Fair enough. Maybe time to narrow the search down to F150s. 12th gens were decent. Essentially just a more refined 11th gen. Early ones had a few issues but by 2012-13ish most things were pretty well ironed out, if you exclude ecoboost-specific stuff.
Not sure what your budget is but there's plenty of 1st gen Tundras on CL under $10K. And I like your idea of traveling to get a rust free truck.
