I've been sneaking around this website for a while, and now that I'm a G-body owner once again, decided to join. I've been around G-bodies since they were new (yes I am not "new"), my sister and brother in law bought a 1979 Regal new, best friends folks bought a 1979 Monte Carlo new. I was only 11yo at that time, but had the opportunity to spend many miles in those two cars over the next 8-10 years. I myself owned a 1983 El Camino from 1997-2005 as my daily driver(305-4brl, 15"x7" rallies,235/60-15 tires, 1 1/4"& 3'4" stabilizer bars, dark/light blue). My current project is a 1979 Cutlass Supreme I bought about a month ago, White ext, Black Vinyl bench int, 305-4brl, rough old 14" E-T mags. Just got my new wheels put on a few days ago, 17"x 8" and 17"x 9" American Racing VN501's, with 225/50-17 and 245/45-17 Cooper Zeon RS3-A tires, added 1 1/4" Front stabilizer with Energy Suspension hardware, 7/8" rear bar. It's a work in progress when I can pull away from the rest of life. Thanks for reading! JW

Thanks, guys. Much like me, it's a 20 footer, but overall solid. The car was originally sold locally and was rustproofed early on, still have the receipt and original window sticker! It has the 305 small block Chevy w/ Q-jet, black vinyl bench interior with column shifter. Current plans are fixing the driveability, safety and appearance issues----timing was formerly set at 0 to 2 degrees AFTER TDC, now at 8 BTDC, hooked up/ plugged open vacuum hoses, needs drivers side seat belt retractor lever, the wheels, tires, and big stabilizer bars made the ride much better and more stable. It feels like a different car.
