Anytime it comes up in casual conversation

Me- "I have 5 cars"
Other person- "Wow, why, how do you drive them all!"
Me- "I really don't, only one is my daily driver, most of them sit in a garage"
Other person- "Why do you need 5 cars? Is that normal?"
Me- "No, but nobody needs 5 pairs of shoes either but many people do"
Other person- "Shoes aren't as big as cars though thats not the same"
Me- "You don't understand...."
