Nasty elimination & Axe the distributor?

If your distributer is the computer controlled version, it needs to be replaced with an older version. I have used a few of these with no issues http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-850001r/overview/

If you switch to a regular HEI distributor with vacuum advance, that relay will not have to stay. If you plan on changing the inkake to a NON-egr intake, or simply purchase a block off plate, it can go away. Someone with more knowledge about EGR can chime in. Here are some links:

Ok will be going to non computer controlled distributor & the intake is non EGR~

Any one us different plugs after these changes than the standard application for the 4.4?

with no egr you will need to back off the timing a couple of degrees
