Is this a daily driver or weekend cruiser? I have Flowmaster 40's dumped at axle, i drive my car daily and its a bit to loud, im gonna finish running the exhaust all the way out and see if it helps. I also have a 383 that hits a mean lick so yours might not be as loud.

It's basically an every now and then car. Not a daily driver, but not quite just a weekend cruiser either. I was hoping for some burble at idle, a little bark at acceleration, but nothing that would annoy people in the neighborhood who aren't car people. I've run straight pipes on motorcycles so I've had my fun. I like the sound, not the noise. Also looking to keep everything low dollar as I hope to do either a 383 or LS engine swap later this year. It's not like I'm totally downcast about this, and I'm sure it will open up some. It may even get to where I want it, who knows?
