I am about to start painting my trim , i need help on how to get my bumpers off and the trim on the bottom that has the clips. Also how do i get the trim off the top of the door? Its on a 84 cutalss supreme btw.
Ahh, the trim. A royal pain in the butt. The chrome trim around the door windows is sometimes best left on. I masked the whole area with newspaper and masking tape and painted this trim on the car.
You'll need a tool or at least a small screwdriver with a 90 degree bend in it to get the windshield and back glass trim off. When the plastic clips break - new ones are available.
