i was heading to clarksville on highway 48 and i was behind a TDOT truck who was diving slowly i was trying to go around him at one point but there was a car coming and after that car left the double lines can up so i couldnt pass and the there a straight away where i can pass and he went to the shoulder of the road i thought he was gonna let us pass him but there was a driveway to the left that i didnt see and i didnt see his blinker so about when i got to his rear wheels he turned left i slamed on my brakes and went left but he hit me and i went into a ditch

They say woman are bad drivers!!
J K. Sorry 2 hear that happened
really surprised that the frame wasn't bent.

There has to be more damage than just replacing the fender and the door. From the thread of your father buying the car, The car is in good shape, so why don't you get it checked out professionally?

if its just a fender and a door you need theres no way it should be 3k to fix...

If you got an estimate then list off what they have listed. We might be able to find you the parts you need. Were they going to paint the whole car? I imagine they were and thats probably where the 3k came from. Is your insurance company not gonna pay for it or were they gonna total the car? Good luck to ya.

we were gonna have it painted base coat clear coat. the rocker panels are caved in and he said something about the door jam. i believe the inner fender is gone i know the fender well is gone. it caved the whole door in where it barely hit the dash. but i think the 3k is for parts too. he said he will knock off couple hundred for our spare parts

3K sounds good to fix all that. I don't know where they are expecting to buy the replacement parts.
Looks like the damage is above the side frame rail...

I haven't looked for you, but go to http://www.car-part.com
Call and VERIFY they still have the part you are after...

Knoxville PAP hasnt had a G/P for a few months.
Nashville PAP smells so bad due to the power plant, I aint ever going back!

Happy to hear no one got hurt..
