If you're interested, i have a set of aluminum full roller rockers that i don't need now since I'm going LS. They are 1.5 ratio, and clearanced for up to 1.436" springs, and mounted on 3/8" studs i believe. Ran them for years with a 488/510 lift cam with no issues. Here's a pic for reference.

If you want to buy new rockers,a few good names are Harland Sharpe and Crane.
You cant go wrong with either one of those.

I bought the Comp Pro Magnums for my SBC, great design, light on the valve and pretty much indestructible and also rebuildable.

I don't think I would be anything with the Crane name on it.

OK, after breaking my 4th leaf spring then both sway bar links on the POS ('08 Z71 Silverado) I can now get back to this issue. Injectedcutty thanks for the offer but I'm set up with 1.460 springs. I talked to Comp Cams about rockers since 565bbchevy posted about the Pro Magnums to see if they'll work for my springs. They suggested those & Magnum roller tips. Now its looks like a budget thing. The Pro Magnums cost more but rebuildable is a plus but I'll need new screw in studs as mine are O.E. type with out the flat top machined for the poly locks. I'll still need to raise the valve covers cause I'm still not willing to cut the drippers on the original Vette/Z28 ones I want to use. I do have to keep in mind that if I want a/c again I'll have to watch valve cover height. Now the Magnum roller tips I won't have to worry about that.

On my big block I have the spacers and i used the stock AC brackets with slight modification.

No biggie, i actually measured my springs because i need to sell the heads to help fund LS stuff. They measured 1.460.

In my opinion roller tips are a waste of money, the biggest friction area is the ball and cup area of the rocker, buy a good full roller rocker and make your combination work with it.
