Whats the easiest way to tell what i have. Most likley its the 200 but just need to kown so i can plan on what im gonna need for a 350 swap.

A couple easy ways. If the gear selector is PRNOD21, then it's a TH200-4R. If the selector says PRND21, then it's either a TH200, or TH350.

From there, crawl under the car, if the pan says METRIC, then it's a TH200, if not, probably a TH350.

Since both trans pans are similar, here's another way to tell. The TH200 pan has 11 bolts, while the TH350 pan has 13 bolts.

200's are lock-up converter trannys too. Look for an electric wire & plug-in. If there is one, it's a 200.

Remember that the TH350C is also a lock up transmission. What year/model car is it and what engine does it have in it now? If it is before 1984, it is not a TH200 4R. If it is a 3.8 V6, it most likely is a TH200C unless it is an early model in which case it may be a TH350( not sure on the year the 200 was introduced). If it is a Chevy 350 you are swapping in, the only V6 trans that will work to my knowledge is one that came behind a Chevy 4.3 (262) or 229 V6 (3.8). If it's a Chevy the distributor is in the back while a Buick is in the front. The Turbo Regal TH200 4R will also work, but if you had a turbo Regal, you probably wouldn't be swapping it for a V8. Even so, you are better off putting in a V8 trans at the same time while doing the swap.

Its a 84 regal, with the 3.8 carb. It is a 3 speed since there isnt a over dive. So its gotta be the 200 or 350, Ill check in the morning if it says metric, and how many bolts it has.

I'd also consider the TH200 4R as it will fit your car with only a change of the trans crossmember. It gives you a 33% overdrive and 1st-3rd are the same ratio as a TH350. Stock it isn't the strongest trans around, but it can be strengthened depending on your application.

Id prefer, the 200-4r, that way I could run whatever gears in back and not worry about gas mileage to much. But how much modification is required to put it in their since the car now doesnt have a overdrive. Like the selecting what gear your in.
