Well I called National Carburator back today and spoke to the receiving manager that I've been talking to and she said she didn't talk to her manager but what she was going to do is send me another one on Thursday so I'm little happy but if there is something wrong with it I'm just going to have it fixed locally and forget the warranty I don't want to deal with this again and thanks you guys for listening.

On Sept 13th i sent my Holley 650 back to National Carburetors i payed for a tracking conformation through USPS so i can see when it gets to them so i checked on the 17th and it said it arrived but they left a notice since it was on a Saturday so i figured on Monday they will have it so i didn't check again till Thursday the 22nd it said delivered confirmed at 12:50pm Sept 19th so i called National Carburetor to see what was wrong with the carb and they go and check and the man comes back and said it was not received in there system now im wondering why not so he transfers me to the receiving dept and they don't know so they said they are going to look around all the boxes they got delivered so they get back to me and say they cant find it now im mad so i have to call the postal service to find out what happen to my package cause they don't have it but the system says it was delivered but while im on the phone with both the postal service and receiving clerk the receiving clerks says she talked to the postal man that delivered the mail to them and he said he remembered dropping 2 boxes off to them but they were empty so i asked her where are the boxes and she said if they were empty i might have threw them away now im what the f@#k you do that and why didn't the mail man say there is something wrong cause these boxes are empty and why didn't the receiving clerk red flag it either it was sent to them in its original package and it weighs 15lbs how can that come out its box and get lost through transit and the mail man delivered a package to the same place he goes to every day so now the post office is saying they cant do nothing cause it was delivered and why didn't they report an open or empty box which shows the weight of the package on it so now i have to wait till Monday till the manger or owner comes in to deal with it as of right now im assed out of a carb that i just bought and didn't even use cause it had a problem what do you guys think i can do?

i hate dealing with shipping and places messing things up. i finally just got summit to take back the wrong pushrods that they sent me.

i got a new heater for my hot tub in the mail today through usps, that box was mangaled bad! they are usually good about that stuff, i have heard they are having money issues so i have to wonder if quality is going out the window because they are uaully not too bad... luckely my hot tub heater was not damaged as far as i can tell

SHIPPING THINGS IS A SCARY THING ANYMORE. YOU JUST DON'T KNOW IF IT WILL ARRIVE IN 1 PIECE OR MAYBE NOT GET TO DESTINATION AT ALL. I RECENTLY ORDERED SOME RUSSELL AN FITTINGS AND BRAIDED HOSE FROM A PLACE IN COLORADO. I WON'T MENTION NAMES. THIS PLACE HAD EVERYTHING IN STOCK, BUT SHIPPED MY ORDER IN 5 SEPERATE BOXES. I GOT BOXES WITH 1 FITTING IN THEM. THAT JUST SEEMS RISKEY TO ME. I GUESS THEY WON'T LOOSE THE ENTIRE ORDER THAT WAY, BUT IT SURE WOULD DRIVE UP THE SHIPPING EXPENSES.

Well to let you guys know what has happen so far like i said they were shipping me another one which they didn't send out till Friday Sept 30th so now im happy its on it way well i wait till Thursday Oct 6th to track it and it says its in NJ on the 4th so i call the postal service to find out why it hasn't been delivered to me and why its still NJ so they cant give me an answer so i contact my postmaster and they tell me to wait till Saturday which is the Oct 8th cause it should be at my po box so i wait and go Saturday to my post office and of course it did not come in now this is ****ed up now my package is sitting in a NJ post office plant since Oct 4th so my post master said she is going to have an investigation done on Tuesday Oct 11th and call that plant to track that package to find out why they holding my package aint this a bunch of bullshit im not having much luck with the postal service is this carb evil or what lol.

Well finally my carb came in and it came a mess it was out of its box the box was in 3 pieces the carb was ok except some of the brackets they were bent from probably being tossed around but I finally got it.
