It's commonly called the backdrive linkage. I'm sure GM had a different name for it- "shift linkage rod" maybe......
Thank you. Right after iAsked did a search for “shift linkage” and found a few threads. IShould have done that 1st. Thanks for not gettin smart lol.

Lol I honestly can't believe how long this redundancy went on for...meanwhile a while ago, I asked where a simple connector went, even led people close to where I took it off of, and ZERO replies. 😳😐

Yes I am. I wasn't saying I posted in this one.
I was referring to another one where I posted a photo of a factory harness connector and asked where it went because I forgot to tag it when I did my engine swap and it strangely is not on the wiring diagram. A couple of you guys are real knowledgeable and helpful, so I can link you to it.
