Im a hardcore olds guy. I love the car, but I don't see any real value here other than a driver. I have had a few ultra low mile cars. Its about disirability. I had 75 elderado with everything only 10k miles. It was hard to get 10k$ out of it. People only wanted the convertable. Great car to drive to car shows but I donno about anything else.

I guess the general consensus is to pretty much avoid this car. I still am undecided. I am going to have another look at it in the Spring when the seller returns. I know around here finding g-body cars that are not molested with mods, insane miles or rusted out is like hittin the lottery. I would buy it if I can get it for reasonable coin and flip it in another 25 years or so. I have the room to store it and at worse case scenario it can always be traded on another collectible.

That is an amazing Preserved species...I am kinda split on it though...I think I would be too tempted to enjoy the car to let it sit for another few decades undriven...If you are looking at spending upwards of $15,000 on the car, You are Not Limited to buying one that is in your area...If you are looking at it from a strictly ReSale standpoint, I would probably go for a More Limited Production G.Body OR try to get it for closer to 10 grand....Once the car is 50 years old, I don't know how many people would be looking to spend well over 30 grand on it....on the other hand, if you think you will regret it forever, you have the $, y the storage space.....I say go for it!

I have this exact same car minus the sunroof with 105k miles. It's white 88 brougham with blue interior all original with all power options. Everything works. No it wasn't garaged and covered since new but I'm not sure how you guys are coming up with such high numbers. I would think this car you're talking about would pull about 5k max seeing how it has 151k on the clock. Maybe if it was a low mileage example I could see more. Am I missing something?

yes, you are. its 151 miles, not 151,000 miles. basically a brand new car

personally, i would immediately jump on this before the owner realizes what he has.. with no mile/ new this is an investment.
keep in mind, 1988 cutlass classic: the last g body oldsmobile, year made hints name classic, the finish production of oldsmobiles on the market. Get it.. the value will sky rocket. but please dont alter it. what u have is rare and becoming rarer each day.. the last of the g bodies man. real talk

Thank you all for replying to this post. I spoke with the seller over New Years and we came to an agreeable price. I will take possession of it this May upon his return from Florida and will post some detailed pics of it once I have it home safe & sound.
