It just further alienates me from modern day GM.

I would still buy a used Pontiac but I switched to Dodge/Ram trucks in the early 2000's.

I don’t get it. Why lowercase script? Looks like a kindergarten project gone bad
To create a bean-counter excuse to remove half the underline.

A GM rep wanted to take me out to lunch to discuss the company fleet I purchase for. Gave him an ear full of the issues I had and why i have swapped a 50 vehicle fleet out to 99% ford......and my tundra, which I highly recommend. 357.5 k and runs like a top with just regular maintenance

lol sorry. i've had 7 olds, a 77 gran prix, 87 corvette. Trust me i hate how gm has slid.
But I'll stick to GM till I die
I grew up with my dad and mom buying GMC, and Chevy suburbans and s10s blazers and keeping them for 10 years and at 100k they never had any problems they traded them in cause they had 100k on them.
My 02 GMC Sierra k2500hd is in sad shape but as a plow truck for 15+ years its held up very good mechanically plus since I bought it new in 02 its been put to the test of me and I never once baby it. But I did washed 3 times a week at work rain or shine or snow.
So if i was to buy a new truck I would be all over the Sierra or suburban/yukon xl
As the wife drives a 05 yukon xl with 277k on it.

Having studied in graphic arts and advertising while in my schooling years, looking at this new design, the outer blue trim looks like a flowing electric current, the "g" looks to be the head of a plug, and the "m" are the plugs three prongs, plugging into the underline, all representing the future of GM being electric, and being lower case perhaps this symbolizes a smaller foot print on the environment. No charge for my expertise here, your welcome 😌
