New guy gonna buy a wagon

Sounds like a nice plan indeed. The floorboard can be an easy fix if it isn't like swiss cheese. A small hole here and there can be welded up easily enough. As for the rocker panel, I'm sure you can fabricate a patch for that, or I think you might be able to get a replacement 2-dr rocker panel and cut it to size. I don't think anyone makes a 4-dr or wagon rocker.
I like you drivetrain choice. That would be sweet.

As for roll pans. There's enough wagons out there with roll pans, etc. to help you envision how your car would look with them.
They look good with shaved handles...or even late model GM handles grafted on.

Good luck! Looking forward to seeing pics of your progress. Welcome to the longroof society. 😀

Thanks Longroof, I have been admiring these wagons from afar for a while now I'm just glad I finally got on!!!

Can some one please take a photo of the control arms as your looking at it from the front of the vehicle and the both sides looking striaght down at the control arms? Reason I ask is it seems like the drivers side control arm has more of "kick" to it than the pass side does or is this normal?

Welcome, and I love that wagon. I had to recently sell mine, because of a new, longer drive to work, and I miss it....🙁

Keep us updated, and have fun with it!

Anybody know of any place in SoCal that has used parts for the Gbodies looking for a core support.
