sup all....just figgured I'd say hi. I've got a few projects going, but I'm picking up my first G-body this week, an '83 Malibu Wagon. Needs a bit of work, but not bad. Somebody yanked the 3.8 in favor of a Buick 350/th350 with some kinda stall converter, shift kit and manual valve body..lol. Who ever had it really wanted a race car....but I couldnt pass it up for $500 🙂

$500 don't sound too bad. Gonna post some pics for us all to see?
Its been a long time since I've seen a Buick V8. The Malibu wagon is the all time greatest wagon, too. I wouldn't have any other one.

Well, brought the wagon home....I'll get some pics up tomorrow. Runs great, needs some work but nothing major. Definately need to get it closer to the ground though 😀

here ya go...probably the best $500 I've ever spent. I need to throw a new carb on it, but other than that, she just purrs....oh, and I dont think I've ever driven a wagon that'll chirp 2nd gear..lol..

how'd you get that for $500???..the wire hub caps are probably worth more than that and the body doesn't look like it has any rust on it. Even the tie raps holding the rad in place look new... :wink:

The kid didnt know what he had..or what to do with it. He couldnt figgure out why it kept getting warm on him...the flex fan was on backwards 😀 and the upper rad hose was routed right over the fan, and was touching it when the hood was down...it's a wonder I made it home..lol

the body is almost dead straight, no rust, just a couple misc. door dings, and I need a new header panel..this one's kinda munched on the pass. side, but not bad

By the feel of it, the transmission is worth more than I paid for the whole car..lol
