I want the serpintine style but they dont have any with an auto tensior (or that ive seen thus far) i Just started looking into it.
The one I mentioned in my post has that and everything you will need. And the tensioner is spring loaded. And the mounting bolts are standard to the block and heads so it will fit any appropriate gen 1 Chevy. And the truck set ups seem to be more compact vs the later car set ups which are spread further apart. Scour the wrecking yards, you'll find it. And if I remember, hot rod to the rescue did a technical article on it and will give you the entire list of parts and years, makes and models. If I have time later, I will look and post it. I think it is archived in my iPad.
 
Tore down the motor today. Very clean inside, thank god, know dex cool gunk build up, coil was clean, no sludge.

also got 243 heads getting ported and milled down

just ordered the car shop 1" setback mounts decided to get the PSI conversions cts-v oil pan but waiting till monday cause they are located 2 towns from me so going to try to save on shipping
 
i have no idea what radiator / fan to run... l have a electric fan assembly out of my 01 camaro SS that I could use but I need to get a radiator that fits in the stock radiator support and I need a wiring kit for it as well !!! someone help me point me in the right direction.

On a diff note I have all the motor components on order.
