That's it. Short term goal is a reliable 400hp street car. Something I can take to the local tracks and have a respectable number (shooting for high 11s in the quarter) and drive the 30-60 minutes it takes to get back home. I'd also like to have fun driving it home. That means being able to get in the turns every now and then. Sure I could be locked in to a car payment on a newer car that can already do all of the above, but my opinion is that you can't beat knowing that you're the reason that car can do it. And you damn sure can't beat the way an old g body looks.

Btw, you got a build thread I can check out?

My thoughts exactly. I'd rather have a badass car that I built than one that I bought. I love G bodies too. My favorite body style out of all of them is the body style of my Monte Carlo. I do have a build thread. It's a slow going build but I'll get it there eventually. Lol.

Looks like a great place to start. Looks good with the rally wheels.

I am an old school fan as far as engines go, I respect the power from LS swap, but don't dig the price. I have a beater G-body waiting for me to score an LS heart, until then, I have a couple with big blocks that are more than to drive.
