For sure, keep me posted. It's nice to know there's guys like me out there working on these cars too. Probably could have saved a lot of time if I joined the forums a few years ago. But Yeah, I sure would like to get some wider wheels on the back

Ya be sure to ask any questions you have and I'm sure someone will be able to help ya out.

Your monte and cruizinKev's make me want a 78-80 Monte pretty damn badly.

aww man where did the pics go? 😢

nice to have another 3rd gen here

Hi.....That's a sweet looking Monte..My 1st monte back in the day was a '79. I'm a fan of those headlights, where'd ya get 'em? Btw, welcome to GTBF!! 8)

she is very clean. everyone has they're own style but good to see another 3rd gen

So some how I deleted the pics that were up. Can't figure it out. Thanks for the positive feedback. Anyway The lip on the wheels aren't very deep, maybe 2" and for the headlights there just standard halogens got some stainless eyelids on eBay. Took a few weeks off from working on the car (family time) gonna start pumpin on it this week. Got all new tierods ball joints and bushings to replace. After That I'm towing it to the alighnment shop and then exhaust. Any recommendations on a mufler? Just the stock baby v8 like a 4.2? Or something. I want one pipe out the side in front of the rear pass wheel.

nice ride you could run a crossflow Flowmaster in the stock location
i have one on my wagon and love it
cheers woody out 8)
