Welcome, Looks like a nice Malibu. I worked at GM's Desert Proving Grounds back in the 90's, I worked with the 3800 V-6 group as a tech.
 
You have to be fairly close to me, I actually retired from GM. I've had good luck getting HP out of SBC's w/ little effort and money. What are you expecting out of yours?

It's a '98 Vortec 350. Stock crank, rods, and pistons. The block had minimal wear, so I just honed it and put it back together with new bearings, rings, and gaskets. I used a set of EQ CH350C heads with steel shim head gaskets. I upgraded the cam to a Comp XE282HR with the factory hydraulic roller parts. Using the published flow numbers for those heads, Camquest is telling me it should make 435 HP.
