Welcome to the GBodyForum!
Sharp looking start. Our cars are never done. Ever. You have a nice start. Make that car yours!

Yeah, I actually like the flat black. Previous owner actually did the chrome trim also. I decided on met. blue for the engine from a previous 70 Cutlass 442 Clone I had with a 455. Maybe another 455 in this someday. The 307 has high mileage but it still runs great with no issues. Thanks again for the warm welcome.

Don't overlook the Olds 350, almost 0 bottom end issues compared to the 455. There are plenty of new parts available, better Mahle and DSS pistons, Scat and Molnar rods, even 4" billet steel stroker crank in 5140 and 4340 and available as a complete package for 420+ ci. Edelbrock is even releasing a small chamber head that allows a mechanical fuel pump for the Olds 350. Over 450 HP/ 425+TQ 358ci 9.2 to 1 with under 230 duration cam on 91 in dyno testing FYI.
