I have a 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Brougham, with the 307 5.0 V8 and 4bbl rochester quadrajet carb. I just replaced the cylinder heads and gaskets. It has some issues, but it's mine so I'm trying to figure it out a little at a time. Hopefully I can find some ideas here. I need the air cleaner assembly to start. Anyone know where I can find one or what other vehicles I can get one off of that will fit?? I also need the headlight back bracket for the driver's side on the euro clip front end.

Welcome to the site from Houston. Good looking car. If you are looking for the stock style air cleaner you need one off of a 307 equipped G body. Start a thread in the 'wanted' section. A member on here likely has one. Also check the 'for sale' section. Several cars are being parted out by members.

If you are worried about factory original any parts store will have a chrome round breather/air filter that will fit your car fairly cheap

I have an aftermarket chrome one already. It came with it, but it doesn't fit properly and it does not have the smog hose opening or whatever it would need for it to pass smog.

You should be able to get the fittings for smog pieces on that breather at a part store cheap. And how does it not fit?

I will take a picture of the one I have tomorrow and maybe you can tell me what you think? It just doesn't sit properly on the carburetor. The guy I bought it from and a mechanic I had look at it said it won't pass smog with it.
