Exhaust leak is fixed and the valve covers leaking oil is fixed however with that being said it looks like the oil pan is leaking so it will probably come off this coming weekend so I can address it. All in all I’m very happy with it! Just need to tie up a few more loose ends but it’s pretty much complete for now.

Little update on the oil leak it is the rear main that is leaking so took it all apart this evening and got the new rear main in going to let everything sit over night and finish reassembly tomorrow

Did you replace the rear main with the engine in the car? Sneaky Pete? Is it a rope style?

Idk how similar they are in this regard, but a bbf 460 seal fits in a Buick 350. I wonder if one would fit a 3.8...

Yes we did it in the car on a lift no it is not the rope style it got upgraded to the newer rubber seal at the machine shop but it appears the seal wasn’t installed correctly. It has since been replaced with a felpro bs-40613 rear seal
