Hi everyone, name is Ryan and I love G-bodies. I've had a few Montes and a an Olds, currently have a 85 Monte SS that I don't plan on ever getting rid of. I'm the third owner of the car and its currently fairly stock with the 305, 2004r with 58k original miles. Its NEVER seen snow!Currently its in the garage getting a new trans (blew the old up a month ago) 🙁 It will also be getting 2 in drop spindles on front and 2 inch opg drop springs on rear over winter.

This pic. was from the day I bought it.

Look forward to being on the board.

Hey Ryan,WELCOME aboard Nice SS! How did you blew the trans with 58xxx miles on her? Are you going to
put anther 200r4 back in her? is the interior as nice as the outside?
Gbarrie.

Thanks! Not real sure on the trans yet. Wife and I drove it to Chicago (about 3hrs from where I'm at) and it drove up and back with no problems then when got home it was slipping real bad from stop light to stop light. Over the next few day I drove it around the block a few times to try and diagnose what was going on and it did something completely different every time I drove it. Fluid level was good color was good. So I was thinking Input shaft seal. I dropped the pan and found some metal shavings. Haven't made it back out to the garage to dive into it any father. I did pick up a good200r4 from a buddy tho. Interior is just as clean as the outside! Ill try and get a pic. soon.
