greetings everyone.
I bought an 81 grand lemans for a donor car for a 39 plymouth coupe I'm building.

Its got a mystery V6 in it. I thought it was a Buick fireball, but its not.
I looked at teh Vin code and its listed on the regi as a "K" motor and there isnt a K listed in the vin code description.

can anyone please shed some light on this?

- And if anyone is interested, I will be offer to give the car to anyone who wants it for parts or registration.- Its located in Vernon, B.C.
items removed: motor, transmission, shaft, steering column and master cylinder- brake pedal.

Is there such a thing as hop up parts to squeeze anything out of it like manifolds and headers? i'll start my quest now but if anyone knows ofa souce to point me, that would be great.

Yes, I would point you entirely away from that direction/idea. Put the money in the bank and save for a new or used engine that will put some power down. The most I would buy are flow through mufflers (or if you like the cheaper glasspacks) to make it sound louder

the motor is in excellent condition mechanically. It was oil changed every 2500 miles ( 5 K for us Canadians) and has less that 40,000 miles. I dont really plan on putting in any long hauls with the coupe and it doesnt need to be a rocket... just look a little more like it has potential.
