Newbie with a 1978 cutlass from south Florida

Newbie here, bought a 78 cutlass about a year ago and just remembered hearing about the gbody forum. I'm not very knowledgable about cars but have an extreme love for them. So I'll be looking for parts and most likely will have some questions.

Welcome. Looks like a clean 78. How's the transmission? The TH200 is notorious for failing around 70,000. I had mine rebuilt.

Thank you and looks better in the picture than in person lol. Um I test drove it when I bought it but neglected until now I have my neighbor, a retired mechanic doing some work to it getting it up and running for me so I can't really answer your question at the moment
