newbie with oldbie olds

Hello all,
I've been an Olds man for over 10 years now. Had a 1981 cutty for 5 years but we got taken out by an import and she's no longer around. 🙁
Mourned for a year and then bought an '88 classic. I've had her for 6 years now.
I saw this site the other day and after some consideration,decided to join. My reason being this: The "88 has a 307ci. olds in it and along with the 211,000kms. I'm thinking about a replacement.
Has anyone here had/have the same model and made an engine swap?
All replies are welcome and appreciated.
p.s. I live in Canada and not near any good Oldsmobile Car clubs,or for sure I would have checked them out.

Welcome!

I blew up my Olds 307 and swapped in a Chevy 350 for a while.
Then I pulled that back out and put in an Olds 455... 😀

You can put pretty much any motor you want in there.

Sold the cutty today. Guy from work offered me $6K. for it and as I only paid $2,300.00 for it...bye,bye.
going to drive my truck for a year or so and one day get into an older Olds,and DEFINITELY one that needs squat.
Probably good timing too as my ******* son has basically disgraced my name on another site and I'm sure in time would find his way here.

Hmmm, had a quick look, but I can't see a way either. At any rate, if he's gone he can't log in under your account from another computer unless he knows your password (which you CAN change)

In future I would recommend not setting up any accounts to log you in automatically if ANYONE else can access your computer.

sh*t happens Roy, more I think about it, the more I know that it wasn`t you doing the posting. Only way it could have been you is if you have a seriously split personality :?
