I have a 1980 Monte Carlo and the turn signals just stopped working I replaced the flasher and checked the fuse( I think it was the right fuse that I checked) any help? Thanks

Can you read the markings on your fuse block.

Is anything else electrical not working?

The brakes and 4 way flashers are fed by one of the circuit 2 red wires from the fuseable links. The turn signals are fed from the other so i doubt the problem is the fuseable links unless everything is not working.

On the fuse block check the "turn bu" fuse don't pull the fuse just but the probe in the holes in the top of the fuse IF both sides are hot the fuse is good. If you have power there remove the flasher one terminal will be hot all the time. The TS flasher goes out to the TS switch as a purple wire next test is to see if the power is on both sides of the TS switch connector at the purple wire, will need the TS on or make a jumper for the flasher.

More to come.
