NOT RACING

IA opened a few weeks back and the WI supreme court crotch punted the governor last week so WI tracks are open for the first week today and tomorrow. IA had a big no prep style race 2 weeks ago and the closer WI track is doing one tomorrow.

ND doesn't have a track close enough worth going for me.

I'll probably run to WI or IA once I get my car ironed out.

Meanwhile, in Illinois, we are stuck with our fat tyrannical dictator of a Governor. No one is really paying attention to his "orders" anymore.

1st, it's raining unfortunately. One of the 4 local dirt tracks is running tonight and it is the only one that has a plan to run anytime soon. It's just over the border into PA and the other 3 are in NY. The expectation is a tremendously larger than normal field of cars with assignments that no one can leave there pit stall unless there car is running. The stands are supposed to be marked off in 6' sections - I have no idea how they can make this happen, but it sounds as if the crowd expectation is about triple the normal size which leads me to believe that only one thing will happen - MAYHEM.

But it's raining. I wanted to go but I can't handle nit wits in a crowd. I expect disrespect and ignorance to be on show, after all it's dirt racing hehe. The word was that everyone has to wear a mask, which I thought was somewhat laughable, now everyone can see how much dirt they were actually inhaling on a normal night. If I went I was going to try to grab some photos of absolutely filthy face masks 🙁

But I miss it, and so does my wife.

I didn't think tracks were on the list of places able to open under Pa's guide lines. Haven't heard of any tracks opening in western Pa yet.

In the Lucas Sportsman circle track series we raced at Capital City Speedway but that place has been closed for 5 years.....what track do you race at?

Napierville (~2hrs from home) and Luskville (~45 mins away) dragways.
