Had some parts come in this week! Got my spacers for the rear and new lug nuts. Big thanks to UC645 for the head light bezels! Control arms just got done at the sandblaster. Gotta find the time to get cranking away!!

Passenger side done, just got to grind some welds. Drivers side is the worst of the 3 but I can handle it. I really need a new welder. Wire feed is consistent for 2 seconds then it spits and sputters. I’ll find one here soon, maybe if we get that 2nd stimulus check 😉.

Sorry, now passenger side is done! I know it’s ugly, but it’s solid and out of sight.

I actually ended up using frame washers on the trunk floor as well as the frame. It worked perfectly, then I just welded the cage nut to the washer.

I don't know if it's a good idea welding nut. You need some play to get the bolt lined up properly

I got them in and tightened a little before I welded

Templates made, cut out and installed. Just forgot to take an after picture. But look I found another rust spot! This will get cut out and replaced on the next work session

Ok so hit a little speed bump. Last week after cleaning up my tools, I crawled under the car to get a socket. I noticed that the washer I had welded was crooked. I had tacked it to the floor and welded in the sheet metal. Apparently the original tack didn’t take and I ended up cutting it out
