IMO its a waste of money. For a street driven vehicle the information is worthless without a baseline and the known components within that engine. The components and their manufactuers recommended allowances have to be known before something could be considered an exceedance.Hypothetically if you were to have an analysis done and it came back that antimony was at 5 ppm is that a bad thing? or is this the difference in Clevite or Eagle brand bearings? If your forte is engine building it could be a useful resource for testing or evaluating,or if your an aircraft owner or operator implementing a SOAP is a wise thing because you can spot a trend before you shell one out, but just having it done for your average car is like watching two seconds worth of film from a three hour movie.
