oil/choke light comes on when I stop

is your idle too low? that could turn the light on due to lower oil pressure than the sender designates as the "minimum"

I had the same issue, oil/choke light came on at low speeds on my 81 307. That Delta was also little old lady owned with a stack of records. My idle was fairly low, which didn't help. My pressure was Ok but on the low side. I ran GM engine flush through, helped pressure quite a bit. That car went many miles after that, best car my family ever owned and only cost $500 😀 . Honestly that 307 would still be going if the chain didn't skip. It didn't use oil and still had decent power. I would try some engine flush, what do you have to lose?

Mine would do The same as well. After warm up, it would flicker at a stop. It would be steady lit if I were to turn the wheel left or right. I'll look into it when I start driving it again.

Oil pressure is at 40 psi at idol so the oil preasure is good im going to change out the sensor
