have any of you guys ever changed an oil pan gasket on an Olds 403? is it hard? also is it possible to change the gasket without pulling the engine? thanks in advance! :D

iirc you don't have to pull it, but you will need to pop the motor mount bolts and jack the engine up a bit to do it. I think to get the pan off. Been a while :D

yea ive heard that too, sounds better than takin the whole b*tch out, lol, gotta be done tho, things leakin a bit of oil, thanks for the info GP!

are you saying that you can replace both the rear main seal, and the oil pan gasket without taking the engine all the way out? is the same possible with the 3.8 in a cutlass? Mine needs it very soon
