The specs listed for both PS154 and PS157 on rockauto are identical. No idea what the difference could be.
If I had to guess, Id say one has a higher PSI rating than the other....just not sure which is which
Same PSI. All same specs unless I misread something.

I can assume that using the word "they", you are referring to all parts stores....

well since "they" all sell the same parts, different part numbers and different wrapping, there is no need to name them all

Kinda sad aint it?

it is, the one I got at the wreckers looked like it was on the car since day 1 but it worked great.

If it aint broke...dont fix or replace it....

I have read that a LOT of aftermarket gauge sending units don't register the same as OEM. I know that is true for the gauge temp sender for sure.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean they all have to suck though.

It's pretty sad when you don't even have an option to pay a little more to but a QUALITY part nowadays. You instead get the choice of a POS part made by Mr. Wang in China or a POS part made by Mr. Hong in China. No option for a quality part made by Mr. Smith in USA etc. This country has sold itself out years ago and I'm happy I won't be alive ( hopefully ) to see it go down in flames like evey other great nation has in the past.
