I've got my olds set to idle in gear right around 850-900, in park it's about 1000-1100 rpm. You're oil pressure is absolutely fine, no worries there. You must be used to Chevys, they usually get about 35-40 psi cold @ idle in stock form atleast.
Yep first olds build. Back when i first had this engine i found out through trail and error that the dizzy spins counter clockwise haha. There's allot of differences between olds and chevy. Actually man the cam was recommended too me and i just followed. I'd have liked something with less of a choppy idle but i'm not complaining 😀
I don't have the trans mount in yet so i won't be able to check things in gear yet but i should be able too soon.
