Oil Pump Bolt Size

Anyone know the 2 oil pump bolts sizes for an Olds?

I think it would be the same for BB.....should be 3/8" x 16 and 2 1/4" long

On an sbo they are 2 different sizes

do you have a few SAE bolts you can try to find out the size and thread?

It's strange ARP doesn't offer a set of bolts and I know you checked and I didn't find anything about those bolts on the losernet

Parts book is weird. They have ONE bolt shown in group 8.900 on the illustration for the Y engine....3/8" -16 threaded hex bolt, 1.75" long. In the standard parts book, this comes up as GM part number 9439637

The VIN 9 (H/O, 442) engine, even though it calls out for the SAME oil pump number, shows a 3/8" -16 threaded hex bolt, 1.12" long (1 1/8") which best I can tell, is GM part number 9820098.

It's odd, they don't really tell you that the bolt is for the oil pump, but there's nothing in the parts list section for the bolts you ask for, either. The picture of the bolt is next to the pump on the illustration, and the other bolt next to it is the smaller oil pump cover bolt. To which it doesn't tell you how many you need.

Unless I'm not looking at something correctly, I got a sneaky suspicion these two bolts together might get you where you need to be.
