old cutlass hood question need help fast

Is a hood from a 2 door cutlass the same as a cutlass wagon? The wagon i have is a 1983 and i need at least a 4 inch tall cowl hood to clear my blower. And does anybody know where to get a quality peice and quick my car is at the body shop. One more question does anybody have any of the front end chrome kicking around this is what my front looks like. Thanks

Not sure, but I think the 2dr is different than the 4dr and wagon, which should be the same.

My hood on my 82 2 dr is completely different than yours on the wagon.....

The hoods for '81-'88 2-doors are totally different.

The hoods for '78-'80 2-doors, '78-'87 4-doors, and '78-'83 wagons will all interchange.

http://www.usbody.com has a 2" cowl, but you'll have to look around for something larger than that...

What "front end chrome" are you looking for?

im looking for the headlight bezels and maybe the grill. Here are the before pictures of the wagon. Its at the body shop now. Its getting painted the same metallic green and im doing away with the wood grain, the chrome above the wood grain and the wheel well molding. Dont mind the dirty inretior its clean now

Were the mouldings around the woodgrain in good shape/did you keep them? I've been tossing around the idea of putting the woodgrain on my wagon, and I might be willing to take them off your hands...

If there is anyway you can look up the two part numbers online. They should still be listed somewhere, that will tell you if they are the same part. Good Luck!
