Get ARP studs for the heads if you have to replace the gaskets. I think standard 350 olds studs will work.

Yes either the 1/2" ARP bolts or studs for any 1977 and up Olds V8 will work and both are a good upgrade.

Finally got all my electrical bugs worked out.Checked my compression, 300 psi was all. Shouldn't it be upwards of 400?

You might have to crank it for a while. Reads almost but no cigar for a while, then suddenly shoots up.
